Kakizaki Memi draws rave reviews for her acting in Re:Mind #10
Episode #10 of the Hiragana Keyaki drama Re:Mind was broadcast Thursday night and it belonged to Memi. She dominated the second half of the episode with her intense performance.
Here are some Japanese posts:

I feel a bit sorry for Manafi and Mii-Pan. In ep7, I thought Manafi was excellent. And Mii-Pan has been good all along. But Memi's performance threw everything else into the shade. She seemed to be inhabited by her character.
But note that the director said she "sprouted" as an actress. This is just the first step. She was not a pro actress, just the beginnings of one. Memi's name means "sprout-fruit," which is meant to imply she is a flower, the stage in a plant between sprout and fruit. I eagerly await the appearance of the flower.

But Ushio Sarina, in her blog, goes into a bit more detail about the accident:
"On our last day of roller-skating practice, during the last check, Memi fell. Asked, 'Are you okay?' she answered, 'I'm fine!!' with a smile. But just to be sure, they said they'd take her to the hospital.
We kept on with our lessons.
While we were still there practicing, Memi came back wearing a cast. I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying. I remembered how Memi looked saying we would definitely make a success of this live, and my tears flowed even more.
I hadn't felt so upset in a long time.
Memi's eyes were full of tears, but she was still smiling.
I was so happy to be able to sing that final W-KEYAKIZAKA no Uta together.
During lessons and during the live, Memi was always with us!! Everyone's feelings were one.

During rehearsal for our Hiragana National Tour - 2017 Final!, I ended up breaking my left wrist
And will be rested for the lives.
I apologize for all the worry I am causing so many people.
It really just happened, and I myself have still not completely settled my feelings. I have a lot of things I want to tell everyone, but I don't know how to say them properly.
To be honest, I'm really, really frustrated and upset.
Lots of people, members and staff and so on, have comforted me with warm voices, making me feel how many people are supporting me to be here.
I know it's bad to cry, but I have been so touched by people's kindness that the tears just flowed.
The gods are mean, aren't they (lol).

Nagahama Neru of Keyakizaka46: Her first swimsuit photos! Her thoughts and confessions about her special entry into the group and the end of her double duty with Hiragana Keyaki.
When the formation of Keyakizaka46 was announced, on August 21, 2015, the name of Nagahama Neru (19) was not among those who passed the final audition. On that same morning, her mother, who opposed her joining the group, withdrew her from the audition and took her back to her home in Nagasaki.
About three months later, the then-17-year-old entered the group as a special exception. Amazingly, two years after that she is the subject of a solo photo collection, shot in Nagasaki. The first edition of her photo collection, "From Here" (ここから Koko Kara, published 19 December by Kodansha), is the largest first printing ever of a photobook for a Sakamichi Series group (Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46) at 120,000 copies.
With a nervous Neru, we looked back over the photos she had done so well in, back in her home town, and she told us her true feelings about entering the group as a special exception, and about ending her double duty with Hiragana Keyaki.

The Kanji and Hiragana Keyaki members' hand-drawn greeting cards for December. This month, the most striking cards for me are from usual suspects in Kanji Keyaki: Koike, Kobayashi and Naako. In Hiragana, Memi's calligraphy is always a pleasure to read, but overall Katou Shiho's card was the one I liked best.
