December 2nd was Memi's birthday!!
Memi is cute at all times -- even when she's sleeping or wearing no make-up!!!! lol.


Memi is the only 1st-gen member my age. She's my goal, my beloved comrade, and my precious companion in battle.

Seeing her brushing aside all kinds of pressure and doing her best, she's so cool!
Also, since she is so skilful at conveying her enchantment, during lessons I secretly watch her to try and learn ( ´・ω・)ノ

Kakizaki Memi 20 August Showroom broadcast (english-subbed video)

Here's Memi's Showroom broadcast from August 20th. She was unhappy at being alone and felt she didn't know what to talk about. But I thought the quiet broadcast was quite enjoyable. Even after watching it many times to do the subtitles.

Sasaki Kumi, Higashimura Mei and Kageyama Yuuka pleased her by visiting for a few minutes and brought more action and talk. But I prefer the quiet Memi herself.



Memi's may be the only Showrooms I can sub, since she talks comparatively little. The garrulous Kage-chan or Mii-Pan would be too much for me, lol.

Memi talks about what they ate in various cities on the tour. She tells what she does and doesn't like to eat. She's pleased someone noted the slight change in her hair, since she had it cut that morning. She's wearing clothes from a vintage clothing shop (i.e., used clothing). Kumi and MeiMei wore the pyjamas they had on for their own Showroom, which they had just finished doing.

Beef-tongue is the famous specialty of Sendai.

I for one would rather see Memi do another Showroom alone. I don't want to listen to other people gab-gab. I'd rather listen to a few natural, authentic words from Memi as she responds to viewers' questions. And then watch her quietly studying the comments. Lol. Her Showroom was highly enjoyable. Just too short.

On Keyaki Message yesterday, Memi dropped six posts in a row: four funny portraits of herself done with the app SNOW (as a bunny, as the pokemon Nyaasu/Meowth, as a demon with horns, etc.). A post saying how much fun SNOW is. And a little video of a dancing bunny-creature with a stretched version of Memi's face. And then before the performance, she posted a pic of herself with Kage-chan, then after it a happy birthday pic of Higashimura Mei, who turns 19 on Wednesday.

Up to Tuesday, Memi was 25th out of 32 members for number of Keyaki Message posts in the three weeks or so it has been going. But her pace has been increasing recently. Kyonko was at 342, Naako at 258, Kage-chan 228, Aoi 153...Neru 112...Fuu-chan/Pe 61...Sugai 54...Memi 47...Suzumoto 36, Akanen 34...Shida 14...Zumiko2, Techi 1.

The "soccer love" of Kageyama Yuuka of Keyakizaka46, and her personal "Sanfrecce history best eleven"

From the time I first became aware of my surroundings, soccer was with me. When we talked about soccer, everybody was smiling.

My parents are my soccer roots. My father has always liked soccer so much that he even travels to national team away games. I think it was from going to matches with him that my mother came to love soccer, too. From the time I became aware of my surroundings, there was soccer in the Kageyama home. No matter when, whenever we talked about soccer, everyone was smiling. For my family and for me, soccer was a big presence.

I even went to an overseas match when I was a baby, but unfortunately I don't remember it (ironic smile). Even when I was in my mother's womb, it seems we went to the (2000) Sydney Olympics to see a soccer match. I well remember my mother saying: "We went to see matches together even before Yuuka was born." Going to watch matches and cheer are some of the deepest memories I have.

When I started watching soccer, I didn't understand the rules, so I just enjoyed cheering with everyone. I liked giving high fives when a goal when a goal was scored. But I would hear my father give analyses such as that a player "made a good move there." And when the family watched soccer shows together I'd hear, "Wouldn't it have been better if that move had gone this way?" or: "It feels as if the defensive line is backing up too far." So in order to follow better, I'd study highlight videos. I think the reason I can follow tactics now is mainly due to my parents. So now my eyes naturally go to the positioning of the defensive line and to line control (laughs).
