Takamoto Ayaka blog: Kakizaki Memi graduates...but we still go out to eat together

Snow falling on a hot day....

Takamoto Ayaka
2019.08.15  06:53h

Hello, it's Takamoto Ayaka.

First, at the recent Nagoya individual handshake event,
I was given some sessions off because of my physical condition.

I apologize to everyone who came to see me.
I wanted to talk to everyone, too, and I even started the day, but ended up reaching my limit.

However, the rest allowed me to recover and I'm fine now!

It really came home to me that I have not been looking after myself well enough.
Looking after your physical condition is an important part of the work.

I'll do my best to show people a happy and healthy me when we next meet.

I'm sorry for causing you so much worry.

Takamoto Ayaka blog: Performing with Kanji Keyaki on Best Hits TV

Best Hits Song Festival

Takamoto Ayaka
2018.11.19

Hello,
It's Takamoto Ayaka

A few days ago I performed with Kanji Keyaki on Best Hits Song Festival
Four members of Hiragana Keyaki -- Sasaki Kumi, Higashimura Mei, Watanabe Miho and myself joined Kanji for the performance

Did you all see it??
At the handshake event a couple of days ago, I was happy to hear many people's opinions about it.

I haven't talked about my own opinions and feelings yet. I will talk about them now.

When I first heard about this, I was thrown into total confusion

I really love Kanji Keyaki.
Right from the beginning, I loved Kanji Keyaki.
And after joining Keyaki, I continued to love them, always beside them, watching their great efforts.
I always thought it wouldn't be easy for Hiragana to join them.
When I heard about this event, I thought of the Kanji-sans,
I thought of giving the fans unpleasant feelings,
I thought it sounded like a joke.

But it was true. It had already been decided.

Roving-eyed otaku falls in love with Kakizaki Memi

A much-posting otaku calling himself Shuutta (twitter @mukaida46) says he's almost ready to believe that his reason for being born was to meet Kakizaki Memi.

Shuutta, who's a 19-year-old university student from Sapporo, buys a lot of CDs and sees a lot of idols at a lot of handshake events, Keyakizaka and otherwise. But he has become a Memi ota (as you can see from his twitter page), and after the Nagoya handshake event a couple of weeks ago, he appears to have totally fallen for her.

He had several exchanges with her again at this handshake event. Then after the lane was closed for one session, he and another well-known otaku hung around outside Memi's area and she played a bit of hide-and-seek with them, popping out from various places to taunt them.

And on the Sunday, Shuutta was one of those chosen for a special event where members sign things you own. (He had to buy even more CDs for the lottery, I believe.)

She wrote on his cap that she loved him. I think that did it, lol.

I believe this is he, from a TV interview. The caricature portrait of him below is by Memi, done at a previous special event. On it, she wrote: "Handsome (lol)."

Takamoto Ayaka's yukata -- and other yukatas

Several member wore yukatas at yesterday's handshake event in Yokohama. One that got good reviews was Aya's -- which it turned out she had borrowed from Sasaki Mirei. Young and summery.

Application period for 4th single handshake sessions begins -- and members start fishing!

The first application period for 4th-single individual handshake events starts Thursday afternoon. So it's time for members to start fishing for guests. Really only three members have rowed out to sea, so far:

Nagasawa Nanako, of course -- perhaps out of habit, since I think the applications will pour in for her. And there's something lovely but restrained from Nijika. But the beautiful girl-next-door Takamoto Ayaka of Hiragana goes all-out. These are three of eight photos in her blog today, most set on her bed. Photos from Naako and Nijika later in this post.

Keyakizaka46 members show support for university entrance examinees

About half a million Japanese students are taking the national public university entrance exams this weekend, and a number of Keyakizaka members have expressed concern and support for them.

No member has said she herself is taking the exam. This suggests that those who may be starting university in the spring have already secured places in private universities.

After no blog post for a month, Hirate Yurina posted for the second time in two days to express her support for the exam-takers, and her concern for their health during a chilly weekend in Tokyo.

Saitou Kyouko supported students with a hand-made fan bearing the slogan "certain victory."

Sugai Yuuka wishes exam-takers "a million-horsepower effort" in the exams. On this cold weekend, she recommends gloves, hand-warmers, and ginger tea.

Sasaki Kumi tells students to have confidence in themselves and do their best. She apologizes for getting personal, but admits that she herself took the tests, and says that although everyone around you looks so smart, they may not be. Do your best and you can succeed.

Keyakizaka Photos from FNS -- Keyaki-chans

So many great blog posts, so little time. Here are more photos from FNS and after -- this time without outsiders, only Keyaki-chans.

Hiragana today: FNS live in six hours

This is the big day: Hiragana will perform for the first time live on TV, and on the big Fuji network, available everywhere in Japan free, by terrestrial TV rather than cable or satellite.

And Kanji Keyaki will perform, too -- but not as much as last week. And anyway, this is all old hat to them, now. Just one more chance to fix themselves in the public's mind as stars.

The Hiraganas all say they have practiced and practiced and are ready for this...but that they are also extremely nervous. Memi's heart is beating hard. Kage-chan can't concentrate on anything. Tears are coming to Kumi's eyes. Takamoto says it's scary...but she's going to be positive and work hard.

Kyonko says nothing about being scared. She just wants everyone to watch. Kage-chan says: "Let's go!!" and invites everyone to enjoy watching. She says her aim is to make sure she can be seen as much as possible. "Look for Yuuka! she says."

Takase Mana, Katou Shiho, smiling Memi

Takase Mana says she is so grateful for this opportunity, and will learn a lot. She wants to perform so people say: "That Hiragana, they're pretty good!"

Hiragana Keyaki -- Their time is coming, but please not yet

Kaizaki memi and Katou Shiho
The senbatsu for Keyakizaka46's third single will be announced next Sunday on the Keyakitte, Kakenai? TV show. Some people are saying a couple of Hiragana Keyaki members should be included.

I am a big fan of a number of the Hiraganas, but I say: not yet.

For one thing, don't break up a winning combination. The 21-member Keyakizaka46 senbatsu has done great things over the past six months, and has grown in competence in every way. And the massive, disciplined senbatsu makes a special impression.

For another thing, I don't think the Hiraganas can be ready. Look at how much more prepared the main group is than it was a few months ago. No matter how cute, interesting, and talented the Hiraganas are -- and I think several of them are all three -- they have not had time to be forged into the kind of performers the Kanji Keyakis have become. Maybe in the spring....

Meanwhile, let's see them as regulars on the Keyakake TV show. I think it won't take long for them to become less nervous, to get to know the Kanjis better, and to gain popularity. Then it may be time to think about how to give some of them a bigger performing role.

As I say, that does not mean I am not a fan. Let's take a look at a few recent photos of members of Hiragana Keyaki:

Takamoto Ayaka, archer (Hiragana Keyaki)

Takamoto Ayaka of Hiragana Keyaki, who lives in Kanagawa (like Zuumin), belongs to the Japanese Archery Club at her school. She has just posted a few photos on her blog.
