September starts today.
And somehow it has become quite cold!


My throat is really done for  (´･_･`)
The change of seasons, I guess.

But I still love this time.

Keyakizaka member-drawn greeting cards for September, with some translation

Keyakizaka46 (Kanji and Hiragana) member-drawn greeting cards for September. Well-drawn cards this time from Shii-chan, Mii-chan, Naako and Pon, as usual; and also from Memi, whose middle-school art-club presidency is showing.

Nice work from Uemuu, who wants to learn to draw better. Oda Nana, Fuu-chan, Kyonko, Manafii, Higashimura....


Here they are -- Kanjis first; and Hiraganas second, starting with Neru. No card from Imaizumi yet.

Yesterday
Our national tour "Masshiro na Mono ha Yogoshitakunaru"
Came to an end.

Wow...
Summer will soon be over.


This summer was very long.
But rather than "So sudden!" or "A feeling of accomplishment!"
What I'm feeling is: "What happened over the past month?"

Day after day passed in a bewildering frenzy.



I don't want to make a judgement based only on what's visible.
I want to look right down into the depths, at the essence of things.


However
We couldn't share the entire burden together...
It was difficult!


Continuing to come face to face with performances,
Struggling in agony to do both school and work,
Tormented by responsibility and heavy pressure,

All 32 members fought with their own burdens.

Nagahama Neru: The Camphor Tree -- a TV show about peace, from Nagasaki

An atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki at 11:02am on August 9, 1945. Around 30,000 people were killed that day. About the same number died from radiation and other injuries in the following months.

Every year, Nagasaki remembers. People offer prayers for the dead on that day, at that time.

Two big camphor trees at the Sannou Shinto shrine were scorched and had their leaves and  bark blown off in the explosion. But as time went by, new growth came, and now the trees are in full leaf again.

Neru's visit to the shrine formed the centre-piece of a half-hour Nagasaki TV show last Sunday. The show was called Kusunoki, or "camphor-tree."

I'm a bit late, but the 23rd was MeiMei's birthday \(　˙▿˙　)/

MeiMei is a crybaby who does things at her own pace, but is always herself, and is so charming. I think she's wonderful.

In any case, she's cute and is always a comfort to everyone (*ˊᵕˋ*)

I go to the sea in Niigata every summer, so I've been there many times,
But this was my first time in the Niigata City area (๑•᎑•๑)
