Neru's beautiful calligraphy is on display again in the April issue of Brody magazine. Only this time, she is writing her own haiku poems, so writing both kanji (Chinese characters) and kana (Japanese alphabet). Offshots:
"Drawing near, I look up -- a great keyaki in winter."
"In the sunlight of approaching spring -- a keyaki." (left)
Neru's poems attain a good standard, too. Her perfections multiply.
Of course the poems are referring to a keyaki tree. But I see another kind of great Keyaki in the pictures.
