Hello.
It's Kakizaki Memi.

Yesterday was the final handshake event for the first album, Hashiridasu Shunkan!

We're already reaching the end of summer,
So thinking that it might be the last chance, I wore a yukata in the 4th and 5th sessions.

A yukata really is what to wear for fireworks displays and festivals!

This year I didn't get to go.
But I did see the fireworks at Keyaki Republic.

They were so pretty!

Also, this handshake event
Was Kage-chan's last activity before her hiatus.

We entered Hiragana Keyaki as first-generation members,
And we are in the same school year, but Kage is just about my exact opposite:
Cute, smart, capable, hard-working,
Seeing her always so reliably doing both her studies and Hiragana Keyaki activities, I really respected her a tremendous amount.

Even though it's a temporary hiatus, not being able to work with her makes me feel lonely and sad...

But I'm sure she will come back and make Hiragana Keyaki a more and more wonderful and bigger group.
From here on, we will all do our best and work hard enough to make up Kage's share!!

From now on, please continue to support Hiragana Keyakizaka46!

Kage-chan, do your best in your studies!!

I'm going to be away for a month starting at the end of this week, and I may not be able to post. So here are a few things about the Magia Record stage play, which she especially, and the whole group, are receiving such praise for. People are shocked at how good her voice is, and the director of Re:Mind says she really is extremely talented and by far the best of a good group in the play. Several people have said how she commands the stage, and have observed that she is onstage much more and has far more lines than anyone else.


Memi says they are trying to make a play that will move people, and that will please fans of the anime and the game -- of whom she is one. She says that Iroha is an elder sister, so she has to be sure not to show her own nature as youngest child. Memi the actress.

She says she has loved MadoMagi since elementary school, and that her favorite character is Mami, who is played here by Katou Shiho. What did she feel when she was told she would play the lead character, Iroha? She was really excited. But also a bit nervous.
