New Year's

Kakizaki Memi

Good evening.
It's Kakizaki Memi.

It's the New Year's holiday ~(*´ω`*)
How are all of you spending it?

I've made a little trip with my family
To Azumino and Oomachi, in Nagano Prefecture ~(*^^*)

What did we do, you ask?
We saw the illuminations!

I have always loved illuminations ♥

Glittering  ✧*。

Santa out of season! (lol)

We went to two places,
And both were huge and glittering
It gave me a feeling of happy blessedness ~~✧*。

But it was ridiculously cold
And my jaw wouldn't stop shaking...
((゚Д゚;))ガタガタ gatagata.

And then, and then,
When I woke up in the morning, all around was a pure white snow-scene!!

Snow-----!!
Just about no snow has fallen this winter,
So I was very excited  \( ˙▿˙ )/

We also went to a wasabi farm,
And I ate wasabi soft ice cream!

You might think it would be really bitter, but it was surprisingly sweet and delicious (*n´ω`n*)

I made some good New Year's memories!

 Bye-bye.

_______________________________

There she is, suddenly a normal 15-year-old again, on a road trip with her family. Actually, it's pretty nice that she isn't selling anything -- or at least not selling the same things as when she is purely an idol. What a complicated life.

In a way, she seems bigger here than in her other environment. More like that regal photo three posts back. This is the world she is in command of. As we learned on KeyaKake, her parents are -- or at least her father is -- totally smitten with her. That other world, she is just learning to handle. But I think she is continuing to gather strength there.

If she is impressed with these illuminations, perhaps she hasn't gone to Keyakizaka or the Sky Tree in Tokyo to see the illuminations there. Or perhaps she is being kind to her home prefecture of Nagano.
