Recent events on the Keyakizaka46 TV show Keyakitte, Kakenai? have dramatized a romantic triangle: Dani has long liked Pon (Kobayashi Yui), who simply endures her. And Miyu says she likes Dani, who has been too concerned with Pon to notice her. This may even be larger than a triangle: now Mona (Shida Manaka) says she likes Miyu. 

I never know how to take these things: is this just a show, or is it based on some kind of reality? And if so, what kind?

Miyu's participation in this came to light in a previous episode, when out of nowhere she just flatly said, "I love her," about Dani.
