[This post is over a month old. I haven't been able to do any translating for the past month. In fact, it's Memi's last post: through the Magia Record stage run and the other events of September, she didn't post much to Keyaki Message, and didn't post at all to her blog. This post is about her solo appearance on the kids' show Shall we get together at Pokemon's house. With the popularity of Pokemon, it is a popular weekend show. One of the hosts is the seiyuu/personality Nakagawa Shouko, and the other guest on this episode was popular comedian Sunshine Ikezaki.]

Good evening,
It's Kakizaki Memi.

A few days ago, I went over to Pokemon's house to play!!

I was taken there by Sunshine Ikezaki-san!!

From the time I was little, I loved Pokemon, and I was so, so happy to be there ♥♥

But it was the first time I had been alone on a show other than Hiragana Oshi, and I was a bit nervous... >_<

The recording was so much fun!

I want to go to Pokemon's house again (*´꒳`*)

Kakizaki Memi

Arōra Rokon is a local form of the pokemon Rokon (English: Vulpix). It has migrated to the snowy peaks and changed colour. It is known in English as Alolan Vulpix.

Memi has mentioned playing Pokemon games before, starting with Diamond & Pearl.

September was a pretty glorious month for Memi. First was this show, appearing alone with a top comedian and giving a fairly relaxed and entertaining performance. Then came the two-week run of the stage play Magia Record, in which she starred. Then came two weeks of Hiragana Oshi in which she was one of the main performers. The "Burikko Battle" between Memi and  Manamo in ep25 was an instant classic. So was Memi's one-wink knockout of Kasuga-san in ep24.

And now she will be in the Sakamichi play Zambi, with members of all three Sakamichi groups. To top that off, she announced at Sunday's handshake mini-live that Magia Record will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on February 27, 2019. The official site makes clear that the disks will include a disk of video extras.

Nice show, featuring Sugai, Kubou, Memi and Katoshi, and hosted by, of all people, Konno-san, the boss: Sony's main producer for Nogizaka and also, maybe to a lesser extent, Keyakizaka. Memi and Katoshi seemed much more informal than Sugai and Kubou, who were proper and super-polite. The two Gana-chans came straight from practice sessions, in their name-shirts.
