Good evening,
It's Kakizaki Memi.

Today I spent the whole day reading manga, playing games, and lounging around (๑¯ ¯๑)

My hair's all messy

Recently, Takase went to Universal.

I sulked so much about not going with her
That she brought me a gift.

Later, she messaged me:  "Next time, let's definitely go together!" Lol.

Takase is so nice (´,,•ω•,,`)

Memi-Fii

Memi x Manafi, that's Memi-Fii
Remember it, eh! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)

Let's have another Memi-Fii SHOWROOM soon

Our artist photos have been changed for the 6th single!

The Hiragana outfits
Are aqua and blue, with a flower pinned to them.
Really cute and fresh-feeling

Please be sure to take a look (*˙˘˙*)

Bye-bye.

Here's Memi's new official artist photo:

Of course, the biggest news from this post is that Memi dyed her hair! Maybe even for the artist photo. certainly for her lounging around photos. She has always been a steadfast partisan of natural black hair, until now.

EDIT: False alarm! On Showroom 22 Feb you could see her hair was still black. It must have been a trick of the lighting or the exposure that made her hair look lighter.

"Universal" is Universal Studios Japan, the Tokyo Osaka theme park.

Memi tells us in Message that there's going to be a live-action version of  the manga Saint Oniisan. She loves the manga and is now looking forward to the live-action. The protagonists are Buddha and Christ, living together as guys in their 20s in modern Tokyo.

She also says she also likes Koi wa Ameagari no You ni, which is about a tall high-school girl who is in love with the 45-year-old manager at the family restaurant where she works part-time. This manga is also a current anime, but she doesn't mention that.

In the photo of Memi and Manafi together, you can see how pale Memi's skin is. Handshake guests comment on this fairly frequently. She is described as "transparent," which applies both to her skin and to her seeming openness.

In Japanese, "Memi-Fii" is actually "Memifi," but  I wanted to give Manafi a bit more emphasis and also wondered if unilingual English-speakers would be tempted to say "fie" instead of "fee" if there was only one "i". Probably going too far here.

By the way, we had another little hint in Message recently that her father really is artist Kakizaki Junichi. He has exhibitions in Sweden fairly often, and Memi says in Message that she would like to go and see "Sweden and northern Europe" someday.
