Keyaki Love -- more and more oshis in Keyakizaka46

Recent 2channel discussion has pointed out that it's not just a select few members of Keyakizaka46 who get fans' support. More and more members are becoming popular, and many people simply support the whole group. The thread developed into an outpouring of Keyaki Love:

"I've always supported Mona, but recently Nen is coming up. Of course I love Risa of Za Cool, and Neru is so cute. Sugai-sama's character is superior. And I love Zuumin, too... Are there other people like this? I have too many oshis to fit in a front line. Can the rest of you get it down to 1-3 oshis?

"That's why so many people are going hako-oshi (i.e., supporting everyone in the group). They all have their attraction."

"With an all-member senbatsu and no general election, do we have to wring ourselves down to one oshimen?"

"I love the Hiraganas, too. I love all 32 members."

"The problem when you have so many oshis is the magazines. The basis for buying or not buying gets fuzzier and fuzzier, and the expense builds up."

"That's true. And as my number of oshis gets too big, it's hard watching shows, too. Before, I concentrated on Mona. But now I look for a number of others, as well."

"I'm Techi-Neru-Mona-Zumi-Beri-Beri-Yukka-Nen."

Suzumon doing the "matador"
"Add Mon to that and I'm the same, lol."

"Work hard to bring it down to two."

"It shifts around among Techi-Neru-Mon for me. With the matador, I think it's Mon right now." (The "matador" is where Suzumon expertly flips up the skirt of her uniform, revealing a big flash of red underskirt.)

"The matador has had a big effect. Knowing that she can dance so well is making her image shoot up. It's great that her spirit has gotten stronger, recovering from that period when she seemed so down."

"Will the members who have suddenly been noticed but are not oshis finally catch right up?"

"On music shows, Shida catches my eye. Probably it's her hairstyle and hair colour and her height. And recently on KeyaKake, although she's not my oshi, it's Moriya."

"It really makes me happy that the girls who have not been on screen are now being shown."

"My picture file is getting to be a big mess."

"That's true. It's an amazing group when you want to support everyone."

"After Hashire! on FNS, you just can't help paying attention to Ozeki."

"I watch the second senbatsu selection on Keyakake over and over again and always cry. Their closeness comes across so clearly. I'm so glad I love Keyakizaka."

Tsuchida: "The senbatsu will be the 20 members of Kanji Keyaki and Nagahama Neru of Hiragana Keyaki."

Techi and Zuumin both weep tears of joy.

Sawabe: "You're a good group, aren't you."

Neru: "Everyone turning this way and being happy for me made me feel so good."

"It's the first time I've met a group where you just can't do without a single member."

website comments:

"I'm hako-oshi for all 21 members, but as it becomes 32, it's getting scary."

"When Sawabe said 'You're a good group, aren't you,' it was such a nice thing to say. I love that scene."

"From the 4th single on, some members of Hiragana may enter the senbatsu. That's when the conflict will begin."

"Although I particularly like Neru-Yukka-Mon, I basically support them all.  I love this group called 'Keyakizaka.'"

"Although I'm hako-oshi and like everyone, I came to like them one by one. What a bewitching group! Of course, now I'm gradually coming to like all the Hiraganas, too."

"What a wonderful thread. It makes me so happy to have everyone's Keyaki Love come through"

"More and more oshis. Even though I'm also a Nogizaka-chans ota, I think this is the truth."

"I'm a Keyaki hako-oshi. If I had to support only one, it would be Uemuu. But it's fantastic for there to be 32 members and not one of them hard to talk with at a handshake event."

"Although Shida-chan is my type and I love her, they all have so much appeal that now I have  more and more types."

"Really nice thread..."

"...I started with Neru, then noticed how great O-jou (Sugai) was, and recently I'm feeling the attraction of Suzumon's facial expressions and performance. Having said that, I think I could go on and talk about all the other members, too. Really, what a good group. I'll be at tomorrow's live, and it's like something you live for. I look forward to it so much."

"In Quick Japan, a chief manager called Shigeki-san says that she wants the members to burst into heated competition, in a good way. That makes me a bit uneasy. Other people behind the scenes, including members, talk about a feeling of unity. They say that Takahiro's use of all the members is what has made the Keyakizaka that exists now. I hope they find a good way to go forward. I'm a student who supports them all, and I only buy magazines that feature all the members. But just today three magazines have come out featuring Keyakizaka. Lol."

  1. The group only calls for unity but management, of course, wanted competition. More drama that will translate into better sales. I would not be surprised if management would create an issue between the girls so they would be up for a heated battle.

  2. These people mirror my feelings exactly. The perfect group - hako all the way (hough the same names keep getting mentioned. I'd talk about Nagasawa, Oda, Sato Shiori, Yonetani, everyone)

  5. Hako oshi definitely. They are all equal to me. That is why when the management do decide to cut down the senbatsu members to 16 and maybe including some hiragana members in it, I will be so heartbroken because they are literally all my babies. It's like a parent losing a child no matter how many children you still have left.
