This the fifth recruitment for Keyakizaka managers. Others were in March 2016, January and July 2017, and May 2018. Compensation has risen Y228,000 - Y234,500 - Y234,500 - Y300,000 - Y300,000.
Starting with this recruitment, the chairman of Seed & Flower is announced as Konno Yoshio, who has been Sony's man on the spot for both Nogizaka and Keyakizaka:
In the end, he and Aki-P are likely the ones who make the decisions for both Nogi and Keyaki, and Konno-san may have the last word, as Sony's representative.
One 5channel poster suggests that managers are required for the new members now, and that Hiragana's activities will increase in May. I suggest that there may be a Hiragana single in March or before, requiring new staff, and that sometime this year a third generation may be added to the group. This is what is likely to happen if Konno-san and Aki-P have decided to really go ahead with Hiragana as a separate group with its own singles, and an increased number of members for handshake sessions. The recruitment wants people able to start March 1.
But when the recruitment announcement refers to the two groups, it does so in a somewhat ambiguous way that could be calling them two groups or lumping them together as one. They are both under Seed & Flower, so this may not mean anything.
One interesting thing in the recruitment announcement is a map showing the location of the Sony Music Entertainment building that is Seed & Flower's home. That large green area to the east is the Imperial palace, and Nippon Budoukan is at the very north end of the green area. Budoukan really is Hiragana's home ground.
