Kobayashi Yui blog summaries: Girls Award, A mother's love, Breaking her diet, A responsible leader?

1. Girls Award

Yui-chan says that at GirlsAward, when Keyakizaka did their mini-live, she was worried that the female audience would not be as enthusiastic about the unsmiling songs they did: Silent Majority, Getsuyoubi no Asa Sukaato wo Kirareta, and Eccentric. But once they started singing, they heard all the same chants a male audience would give, coming from female voices. It made her very happy.

She says that she was on the runway for the fashion house evelyn, and so was Shida Yuumi, the model and member of Yumemiru Adolescence. She's someone Yui has admired since elementary school, but Yui-chan was so nervous she didn't go and talk to her. It was like a dream to be there on the runway with so many models she admired.

2. A mother's love

Here's an outfit Yui-chan wears and likes. But when her mother saw the outer gown, she said, as reported by Yui-chan: "Makes ya look like a fish." Yui is making sure we don't think she's an ojou-sama, lol.

3. Breaking her diet

After the Girls Award show, Yui-chan ate a hamburger steak dinner for the first time in a year, and followed it with an ice-cream roll she has had her eye on.

She says that if she ate more meat, it would show, but with the fashion show over, this is a moment when she can let herself go, for once. But then she will go back to eating as she ought.

4. Responsible leader?

And here's an interesting pic from Higashimura Mei's blog. It's a note in which Yui-chan congratulates Hiragana on its hard work on the drama, day-in and day-out, and says she looks forward to seeing it.

The note has been much appreciated in MeiMei, Katoshi and Manafi's blogs. And so have the sweets it came with. Yui-chan also commented earlier on how well Hiragana work, and said Kanji could learn something from them. These kinds of encouragements are the sort of thing a leader might do. Are they hints that Yui will be up front this time, or even at centre, and is growing into the responsibility? Maybe a Mon-Techi-Yui triple centre? These may be the three best dancers in the group, and at least Mon and Yui could do some of the harder dancing, taking pressure off Techi.

The Mon-Techi-Yui idea comes from the cover of BLT magazine's new 20th anniversary issue:
