A walk in the mountains ♥

Good evening.
It's Kakizaki Memi.

Today, for the first time in a long while, I went into the mountains
To pick mountain vegetables.

Today we picked Fuki no Tou.

We picked a lot  ~(*^^*)

There was an adventure playground.

The adventure playground was fun (*´-`)

Where am I? (lol)

Look for me, please  (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡

I found some animal tracks  (°ㅂ° )!

What animal was it?

Could it have been a serow? [note: a kind of wild goat/antelope]

A fallen bird's (?) egg!

There are lots of interesting things in the mountains (๑•᎑•๑)

I like the mountains so much I'd like to live there (lol)

With the Fuki no Tou we picked today we'll make fuki miso to eat (o´罒`o)

Please go for a walk in the mountains, everyone!
You'll definitely enjoy it ~♪

Bye-bye

I love this post. Mountain Memi, lol. I love the forest, too. She's probably gone home for a couple of days and is out there with her father. She has mentioned these expeditions before.

"Mountain vegetables" 山菜 sansai is a surprisingly common item on Japanese menus. Japanese eat many wild plants. Fukino Tou is the early stage of a perennial herb. The growing pods are eaten as tempura or used to make a flavored version of miso.

The serow is a small goat/antelope that is fast and agile and a protected animal in Japan.

In her last post, Memi said that watching the W-Keyakizaka no Uta MV brought tears to her eyes, as it told the story of Keyakizaka so far.

Here's another photo, probably also from the time they were recording the MV:

She reports having seen ice cream for sale at the station and not being able to resist buying some. "It was delicious."

As one fan says on Twitter, Memi is great at selfies.
