The August UTB magazine comes out 23 June. Mei and Hina are on the front cover and have a good-sized gravure section. The cover says it is like the arrival of two princesses. I think Memi's string and sincere look is more like a queen's. She often seems to be sharing a secret joke with the viewer.

Hydrangeas are something else again in Japan, especially in the rainy season

With Memi liking the unit name "French Bread," and with she and Nina being described as "French dolls" for their gravure, it seem Memi has reconciled with her image as "French doll," and is willing to go with it. despite having said elsewhere that it was something from pre-school, when she played dolls with her big sister, and that she wasn't a French doll yet.... "Maybe in my next life." Lol.
