Iguchi Mao blog -- Photos of Memi (plus video of a new Hiragana song)

Iguchi's Eye #1 -- Kakizaki Memi

As for the title,
After complete confusion about whether to call it
First Champion Burikko Kakizaki Memi,
Snow Princess Kakizaki Memi, or
Strongest Babyface Kakizaki Memi,
I ended up calling it
Iguchi's Eye #1

I thought that
Mao's photos
Might be getting same.

So I rearranged things
A bit (lol).

Memi-chan waiting.

When we're being made-up
The make-up person
Does the same things over and over.

In Mao's photography,
Memi-chan's appearance rate
Seems to have gotten quite high.

She continues to seem a bit put off,
But Memi-chan does play along.

While still having the face of a baby,
She often seems
To make an expression like a devilish woman.

She lets out a little laugh, Within her,
Voluptuousness lies dormant.

Now look forward to the next installment...

A comment on Twitter says that in these pics Memi is oni kawaii 鬼可愛い -- "devilishly cute" (at least that's what the expression means literally).

The title of the post looks like the beginning of a new series of photos by master photographer Mao-chan.  Literally, it's "Mao's line of sight," or "Mao's gaze," or "Mao's point of view." I thought "Mao's Eye" got the idea across fairly naturally in English. Memi fans want a Memi photobook done by Mao and Memi's sister.

If it's true, as it sounds, that Memi is the first voice you hear on the newly released second Hiragana song on the 8th single, then there's a good reason why Mao-chan is featuring her and why Kyonko has invited her to do a two person Showroom tonight at 9pm (in about 5-1/2 hours).

Here's the new song, Dakishimete Yaru 抱きしめてやる "I'm going to hug (you)":

Great song. Great sound. I think this may be how Hiragana should sound.
