For those who don't know Nao-chan, she's a quiet and collected beauty from Osaka with singing and dancing talent, intelligence, and determination. Management have put her at centre for Hiragana 2gen songs. And it looks as if she may stay there and even get that place with the whole Hiragana group, maybe sooner rather than later, if she keeps going as she is. She is only 15, and a couple of weeks from being the youngest member of Hiragana.
It has taken me a long time to come to like her. She shows so little emotion that I find it eerie. I got an impression of pridefulness from her during her auditions, where she was extremely businesslike and sang a lot. And her style of beauty has seemed too stiff and cold to me up to now. But I am coming around, lol. She seems like she could be a treasure of talent and beauty who could become the public image of the group. And lead them up the hill, as Hirate has done for the Kanjis.
Just to prove that point, it has just been announced that she has signed an exclusive contract to model for Seventeen magazine. That is a very high platform to stand on, arguably higher even than the magazines Risa and Rika are modelling for. Congrats to her...and to Seventeen for snapping her up.

I dont see the beauty in Nao, she looks really average
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, neither did I. But everyone else seems to think she's amazingly beautiful, and I take their opinions seriously, so I'm trying to see it, and succeeding a bit. In any case, as a Hiragana fan, I'm happy to see someone emerging who could bring the group more popularity.

DeleteHmmm, well, I preffer Kanji, but I like hiragana girls, but maybe is her charm? or charisma, but Suzuka is way more beautiful, it seems people point of view are sooo different, but still, for me Nao is not taht good looking, her nose dunno, her face dont see in harmony, not hating, she is just pretty
