Kakizaki Memi blog: Late Halloween handshake event...plus Techi-Memi together

Woof ∪・ω・∪

2017.11.07

Good evening,
It's Kakizaki Memi.

A few days ago there was a handshake event in Kyoto!
It was "late Hallowe'en"
And we wore costumes!

This was the first session:

Do you know what the costume is??
It's the girl Wednesday
From the movie The Addams Family.

Did anyone know?
It might have been a bit difficult ー(´ー∀ー`)

2nd session!

It's a little devil ♥

She also had wings  \( ˙▿˙ )/

3rd session!

This is either a fox or a dog! (lol)

At first, I intended it to be a fox,
But I thought it was so much like a Shiba
That in the end I made it a dog (o´罒`o)

Bow-wow ∪・ω・∪

By the way, the skirt was given to me by Neru ♥
There aren't many skirts like this, with such a lovely Japanese pattern. I really like it (*´˘`*)

And thank you very much for the flowers  <(_ _*)>

I totally enjoyed the handshake event ٩(*˙︶˙*)۶
Really, thank you very much!

Bye-bye

Nice post, with the first photo I've seen of the little devil (such an appropriate costume for Memi -- just ask Kyouko).

But the most significant photo of Memi from this event was in Satou Shiori's blog:

Shii-chan wrote: "Hey! Look! Look! Isn't this terrific?! Lol. Makes your heart throb. Tekko and Memi-chan are the best. I've got another version that I'll send in Message."

"Terrific" translates the word
yabai, which means 'dangerous, terrible, terrific, amazing'. And when she says that Techi-Memi is the best, she uses Neru's dialect phrase "saikou ka yo!"

Comments on Twitter are things like:
  • "Techi's boyfriend feel is so strong"
  • "Techi is handsome, Memi is cute"
  • "Satou Shiori takes a stunning photo of Hirate Yurina and Kakizaki Memi flirting"
  • "With this hairstyle, Techi is so handsome. Memi has a girlfriend feel"
  • "I wish I was Memi-tan"
  • "Gyaaaaaa! Techi-Memi. The two of them staring into each other's eyes makes them so like a couple. I want to be reborn as Memi-chan.
  • "Of course Shii-chan and Techi are, but isn't Memi super cute? I want to have that face bearing down on me."
  • Memi has the look of love."
I love this kind of thing, but a lot of it is believed to be publicity play-acting. So I try not to take it too seriously.

In the photo of the little devil, I like Memi's huge hands. Dangerous creature. In Message, Neru posted a pic of Memi in costume, and was delighted that she had worn a skirt she got from Neru.

Wednesday Addams was a hard costume to guess. Memi's big fan Shuutta reports from the second session:
Me: Your costume in the first session was Wednesday, wasn't it?
Memi: It was!
Me: Did anyone realize it?
Memi: No-one.
Me: Ah, so that's how it is. From now on, I'll be the first to guess for you.
Memi: Really?
Me: (I died.)

  1. auto focused to Techi's black shirt. Is it an article about Keyakizaka46 in english? I wonder what was written.

  2. That's a shirt made for them to wear at the Keyaki Republic open-air live last summer at the "Conifer Forest" area of the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park, near Mount Fuji.

You can see the English at the top and bottom. The rest is written in Western alphabet, but is actually Japanese. First, it lists all the members of both Kanji and Hiragana Keyaki. Then, after the "Fun!Fun!Fun!" headline, it says that the shirts were made for the encore, and that the encore should be exciting. It says members and staff didn't have much rehearsal time and had to do their utmost. It mentions that Neru -- who was still part of both Kanji and Hiragana at the time -- has more changes of outfit than anyone and that's hard for her. It says the members hope everyone has a good time, and that they are looking forward to a good tour.

I think they all loved the Keyaki Republic show. Some members continue to wear that shirt.
