Hot!
Kakizaki Memi2018.07.21
Good evening,
It's Kakizaki Memi.
On July 16th we had a Hashiridasu Shunkan handshake event!
I wore a dress with flowers ー (*^^*)
It's Neru's, lol
Thank you, Neru-tan ーーー
Photos of flowers
So many. Thank you very much
This was the first Hiragana-only handshake event.
Without the Kanji-sans, the dressing room felt a bit lonely...
I was thrilled that so many people came to see me!!
Thank you very much
Lately, it's been really, really hot, eh
With enough liquids and sun-protection,
Let's overcome this hot, hot summer together!!!
Bye-bye
Kakizaki Memi

It has been announced that Memi will have the lead role in Hiragana's stage play, Magia Record, which will be on stage 24 August - 9 September. She plays Tamaki Iroha, a minor character in the main Madoka Magica story, but the protagonist in the Magia Record game on which the stage play is based.
Main cast of the play is:
Memi (Tamaki Iroha) Mirei (Nanami Yachiyo) Suzuka (Yui Tsuruno) Miho (Mitsuki Felicia) Sarina (Futaba Sana )
Nibu (Kaname Madoka) Hina (Akemi Homura) Kyouko (Sakura Kyouko) Miku (Miki Sayaka) Kato (Tomoe Mami)
I'm surprised no to see Nao-chan in the cast, since she got good reaction for her work at the Ayumi stage play. Maybe she's busy as a model, or with something else. I actually think Memi is more suited to TV and film drama, where small expressions can have big effects. But it's good to get more live stage experience, for sure.
If you'd like to know more about Iroha and the plot (of the game, at least), you can find it here.
At Keyaki Republic on Saturday, Memi led a part of the Hiragana MC session. Kumi told everyone to look after themselves in the hot sun, then Memi: "It's drink time! Everyone please get out your drinks! Today there are a lot of sports drinks. Let's down them. Please do it with the person next to you...Kampai!" ["kampai" ("dry the cup") is the Japanese "cheers" or "bottoms up"]
There are more-or less life-size panels for every member set up around the grounds. here's Memi's, using a pic from when she had her broken wrist in a sling:
One tweeter said they had seen the Keyaki-chans getting off the roller-coaster at the amusement park where the show is being held. I believe it's the same one we have seen in previous episodes of Keyakitte, Kakenai. The poster said the only member they could positively identify was Memi -- although I don't actually recognize her in this photo (click to enlarge):
Finally, just for good measure, here's something a Japanese poster put together recently:
I'd like to be able to post the pics from Memi's and Neru's Keyaki Message today: great shots of Memi, by herself and with Neru. Memi's ability, confidence and beauty are all growing quickly right now.
By the way, this was Memi's first blog post in 17 days. I wish she posted more, but I'm glad she's busy. The "zzz" emoji when she mentions Neru refers to the fact that the name "Neru" sounds like the word mfor "sleep" (although it's not related to it).
