Snake-san
Kakizaki Memi2017.10.29
Good evening.
It's Kakizaki Memi.
A few days ago, the 5th single, Kaze ni Fukaretemo came out \(❁´∀`❁)ノ
In the extra videos this time are trips to pray for the group's development!
In four different teams, we went to pray for the group, and there are different videos in each of Types A, B, C, and D (’-’*)
I was in the Saitama video, and went to the zoo, where I was able to touch an animal that brings good luck!
Ta-dah!
No matter what, I wanted to hold the snake, and I was given the chance ~( •̀∀•́ )✧
It was cute ♥
Kiku-chan (Sasaki Kumi) saw the photo and sent me this drawing (lol).
I guess Kiku-chan wanted to hold the snake, too. lol
I wonder if that looks like me.... (lol)
After the zoo, we had a barbecue, and talked together with the Kanji-sans in a way we don't normally do!
I think we reduced the distance between us a bit more on this trip (∗ˊᵕ`∗)
My trip to Saitama is in Type D. Please be sure to watch it ♪
Bye-bye.

Memi's first blog post in nine days. Her Message is less active these days, too. She must be busy, with work or school or (most likely) both. Too busy (lol) to get the details right: the Saitama video is in Type C, not Type D, as she says....
The drawing by Kumi says at the top "Zoo" and under the snake: "Snake-chan."
I'm not sure how long it will stay there, but the video is currently on YouTube:
The video may or may not eventually be taken down, but here are some screencaps and some discussion:
The video is wonderful: Memi/Techi/Mona/Fuu-chan/Shii-chan/Mii-Pan/Mao-chan/Aoi. Vivid reactions, lots of laughter. Memi always around Techi and Techi smiling a lot with her. Techi and Mona very easy together, with Mona ever ready to help Techi. It was a bit as if Mona was Techi's husband and Memi was her wife.
Memi and Mona were ready for anything: they were the only ones to volunteer for all the challenges, from feeding the tiger to having the snake around their neck (although Memi didn't get to do the snake until after the shooting). When Memi fed the tiger, she teased it by moving the meat around from place to place before pushing it through the bars. Fuu-chan said how S ("sadistic") she was. I think that's confirmed, lol.
Shii-chan was so funny and real trying not to be touched by the big snake. Memi and Techi kept glancing at each other, perhaps amazed that the other did/did not want to get up close and personal with the animals. Aoi and Mao-chan were not very comfortable around animals. Mao made a great comic schtick out of it, Aoi just faded into the woodwork when she could, with a strained look. Poor Aoi, as my grandma would have said.
Fuu-chan was definitely the leader of this group, introducing and arranging things. The Type B video with Neru, Habu, Sugai, Nijika, Kyonko and others is also great (Neru is wonderful, Kyonko hilarious). I haven't seen the other two videos yet.
In that radio broadcast where Memi and Techi played the "I love you" game (the goal is not to react when the other says she loves you), Memi just burst into tears when Techi said it. Techi laughed that Memi was not much of an opponent. In this video, I got the feeling that Memi in particular was so aware of Techi, always circling around the group to get back to her. And Techi seemed to make a point of walking with Memi sometimes, too. In general, however, although the Kanjis showed respect for and interest in the Hiraganas, they did often drift into their two groups. But Memi-Techi-Mona had some nice interactions.
One of Memi's problems as an idol was illustrated: her nice voice is both deep and soft, so it was hard to hear over the others, most of whom were both louder and shriller. It was also interesting to see that Memi was dressed to look younger than she is, while Techi was dressed to look older. Techi is only six months older than Memi, who turns 16 in a little over a month.
Finally, photos including Memi have shown up in Kage-chan's and other blogs recently:

ReplyDeleteTechi always look older >-< Maybe Kawaii dress like what Memi wear isn't her type. She often wear cool clothes.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous -- Sorry, that was too quick a comment on my part. I wasn't making any suggestions, just interested by the fact they are so different, while still being about the same age. In fact, I felt that Memi didn't have to go that far to look young. I don't who decided what she would wear: herself or management. As for what Techi was wearing, I loved it.
