Saitou Fuyuka explains the Mou Mori-e Kaerou ka MV

A couple of days ago
The MV for Kanji Keyaki's 6th single
Coupling song Mou Mori-e Kaerou ka?
Was made public.

When I first saw the MV
It gave me the same feeling
I got seeing Te wo Tsunaide for the first time:

A feeling of fear.... (lol)



"Eh? What is this feeling? Scary!
Like that

But after that I steadily came to understand the nuances
"Oh, of course!"
Was like my punchline

The song's title is in the "~kaerou ka?" series.
Isn't that a bit scary?

This MV was directed for us by the director of the Hiraishin MV, Mori Yoshihiro.

Before the shooting, he gave us a very detailed explanation
Of the song and its world view.
It was because we understood what was going on
That we were able to take up the challenge of the shooting.

"Mass manufacture of idols"
.............!

Idols like us
That was scary.

In the plastic-sheet greenhouse at the beginning
Are idols that have been thrown away....

From among them, Hirate stands up
And walks off somewhere.

As if lured away by her
They progressively stand up and walk off

That's the setting it starts from.

Partway through,
We began moving mechanically,
As if we were actually manufactured.

Our feelings, of course, were "none."

Then came the image of us used up
And thrown away like garbage.

That was the scene where we were lying on top of each other.

But we ran out from the gates
Of the factory where we were made,
And after the escape scene
We fled here, to the symbol of a
Huge blaze like the rising sun.

From there feelings we shouldn't have had bubbled up in us
And in the end, our feelings exploded into dance.

I wonder what image of "Utopia"
Each of us has in her mind...?

It's a story that makes you think about things like that.
