With the new single coming out next week, magazines are cranking out the Keyakizaka features. Playboy is featuring some amazing photos of Techi: handsome and cute at the same time.
And in the fashion mag ViVi is a fascinating interview in which Techi says that she makes her own decisions, and will not just follow orders. But she also says how much she loves Aki-P's lyrics, and is always amazed at how he seems to know her feelings. (click photos to enlarge)
In the interview in ViVi, Hirate says she didn't cut her hair because Aki-P told her to. She says that if he had told her to, she wouldn't have cut it. She makes her own decisions. Here's the interview (click photo to enlarge):
So Yurina really feels empowered, and able to make her own decisions. She may be causing her bosses trouble. But she loves Aki-P's lyrics. And the results are amazing. And she is happy to be old enough to have graduated from middle school and to be in high school.
This short interview reminds me of the longer interview from Rockin On Japan magazine that I translated a few months ago. I feel as if we are gradually zeroing in on who this woman is: young star, rebellious teen, hard-working entertainer, ordinary high-school freshman....
