Memi is perfectly willing to tell us her opinions. It has been clear from the beginning that she has confidence in them. People sometimes put down UVERworld as a band for teen girls, and they are certainly a strong element in its large fanbase. But what's wrong with that? Why shouldn't we give some regard to the opinions of the people in the world with the most sensitivity to the emotional messages in music?
Listening to this new song on YouTube and reading the lyrics, I'm enjoying it all. The lyrics are interesting, a bit complex, and have emotional resonance. And the band's combination of lyricism, professional rock, and masculinity (with a touch of fatherliness?) works well.
Of course, UVERworld is a Sony group, like Keyakizaka46, and that may help Memi feel confident in promoting them. I think she is smart enough to be aware of these things.
Looking at the rather intimate close-up in this post, I'm getting surer that Memi is looking at Neru's blog for hints:

As further evidence, here's an extra twintails photo from Memi's blog a couple of days ago:

An altogether more artistic operation, lol. But a good model to consult.
