When the new album goes on sale July 25th, every Tower Records store in Japan will have an oshimen, and will feature her in store decorations and events.
A year ago, the then-manager of the Tachikawa Tachihi store decided to make Shida Manaka the store's oshi. Then he/she moved to the Ario Kawaguchi store and brought the custom there, while the previous store also continued. They collaborated a few months ago to establish the Kingdom of Mona. Customers got papers declaring them subjects of King Mona.
Now the president of the company has taken up the idea and spread it to all 74 stores. I'm so happy for the manager who first put the idea into practice. That's how an organization should work: good ideas rise to the top. Each store's oshimen was chosen by staff at the store.
Stores have a system set up for taking a picture of a customer "with" the oshi:

Kakizaki Memi blog: Red shoes
Precious shoes
Kakizaki Memi2017.07.12
Good evening,
It's Kakizaki Memi.
Today, I ruined the precious shoes my aunt gave me.
They were sandals with a white ribbon, extremely cute. I liked them a lot.
It makes me sad. So very sad...
Will I ever find sandals I like as much again?
I guess I'll have to buy new shoes.
The children's story I love best is "Red Shoes."
Why I like it, I don't know, but when I was little I read it every day.
I wonder if I should buy red shoes next time...

Takamoto Ayaka's yukata -- and other yukatas
Several member wore yukatas at yesterday's handshake event in Yokohama. One that got good reviews was Aya's -- which it turned out she had borrowed from Sasaki Mirei. Young and summery.
